After completing her BSc in Home Science from the University of Calicut and Postgraduate Degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Kerala Agricultural University, India, in 2000, she worked at reputed hospitals in Kerala, India, until 2006.
She has also completed professional certifications in Managing Food Safety through BSS World Dubai in association with Muscat Municipality, and Supervising Food Safety through the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), conducted by Khimji Training Institute.
She has contributed regularly as a columnist on healthy food and nutrition topics and has represented the hospital in medical talk shows conducted by the Indian Medical Association.
Since 2010, she has represented the hospital in numerous health and nutrition awareness programs for leading multinational organizations and has conducted nutrition training programs for catering companies in Oman.
