Dr. Salma Al Shamsi is a Senior Consultant in Breast, Endocrine, and General Surgery with over 20 years of experience in the medical field.

She serves as a Senior Lecturer at Sultan Qaboos University and as a trainer with the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB).

Dr. Salma earned her MD from Arabian Gulf University and completed her surgical residency with the Oman Medical Specialty Board. She subsequently pursued advanced surgical training in the United Kingdom and completed a Fellowship in Breast Surgery in Sydney, Australia, where she also obtained a Master’s degree in Breast Surgery.

She has published several research papers in breast and general surgery and has presented her work at numerous national and international conferences. She continues to play an active role in advancing medical education, research, and clinical excellence, with a particular focus on breast and endocrine surgery.
