Dr Sharif completed his MD from Sultan Qaboos University and later obtained European & Arab Spine Diploma. He has also obtained Certificate in Senior Fellowship – Spine Surgeon from Aberdeen, UK and Certificate in Senior Fellowship – Complex Spine Surgery from Leeds, UK.
Dr Sharif is also attached to Khoula Hospital, Oman as Consultant – NeuroSpine Surgeon.
He has been Speaker at many National & International conferences and had a major role in establishing First Omani Neurospine unit at Khoula Hospital and first Omani Society for Stroke at OMA.
He is the president of Oman Spine Society and Vice-president of Oman Neurosurgery Society.
